Our Full Bale Slow Feeder is safe for both Shod and Barefoot horses. The feeder is made of Polyplastic which is able to withstand temperatures of -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It's also non-corrosive, tough, and durable and it won't break if kicked by a horse. It has 2 different changeable settings for net placement, allowing for either 1 or 2 bales of hay at a time. Set the net to the bottom setting for shod horses and the top setting for barefoot horses. Add our legs to raise the feeder high enough to not allow pawing inside the bin. This feeder is 6' Long x 2' Wide x 2' Deep.
